2 Appointment Requests and Scheduling
Submitting a form, calling for service, or requesting a quote does not guarantee an appointment until the appointment is confirmed by Armstrong Locksmith Inc.
Service availability may depend on:
- technician availability
- business hours
- location
- vehicle, lock, or hardware type
- proof of ownership or authorization
- parts availability
- safety and access conditions
3 Cancellations Before Dispatch or Scheduled Work
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
In many cases, if service is canceled before technician dispatch, reserved travel, or scheduled in-shop work begins, no cancellation charge may apply.
However, Armstrong Locksmith Inc reserves the right to apply a reasonable cancellation or scheduling-related charge when time has already been reserved, special preparation has already occurred, or a technician has already been assigned.
4 Dispatch, Travel, and Trip-Related Charges
If a technician has already been dispatched or has already begun travel for a service call, a trip charge, service call fee, or dispatch-related charge may apply even if the service is later canceled, declined, delayed, or unable to be completed due to conditions outside our control.
Examples may include:
- customer is no longer at the service location
- customer no longer wants service after dispatch
- incorrect address or incomplete information was provided
- proof of ownership or authorization cannot be provided
- the actual job is materially different from the original request
- site or vehicle conditions prevent safe or lawful service
5 Diagnostics and Labor Already Performed
Refunds are generally not available for labor, diagnostics, testing, service time, or work already performed.
Once work begins, including inspection, diagnostics, disassembly, key cutting, programming attempts, lock servicing, rekeying, hardware adjustment, or on-site labor, charges may apply for the time and services already provided.
6 Completed Services
Once a service has been completed, charges for labor and completed work are generally non-refundable.
If you believe there is an issue with completed service, please contact Armstrong Locksmith Inc promptly so we can review the situation and determine whether a correction, adjustment, or service follow-up is appropriate under the warranty terms below.
7 Special-Order Parts, Keys, Remotes, and Electronic Items
Special-order items, customer-specific parts, cut keys, programmed keys, remotes, key fobs, electronic components, and vehicle-specific items are generally non-refundable once ordered, cut, programmed, or prepared for the customer.
This includes situations where a customer changes their mind after ordering, a part has already been cut or customized, or the item was ordered specifically for that job and cannot be resold as new.
8 European Vehicle Key Orders and Payments
For many European vehicle keys, payment is collected up front and is non-refundable. This is because the payment may immediately go toward the cost of the key, coding or pre-coding expenses, online services, and secure supplier or system charges tied to that specific vehicle.
If a customer approves the job and payment is taken for a European key order, that payment is generally not refundable.
9 Customer-Supplied Keys or Parts
If a customer provides their own key, remote, fob, or part, Armstrong Locksmith Inc provides no warranty on that customer-supplied item. In those cases, our role may be limited to programming, setup, testing, or installation assistance only. We do not guarantee quality, compatibility, or long-term performance.
10 Warranty Coverage
Warranty coverage is limited to the specific service or item provided by Armstrong Locksmith Inc and does not apply to unrelated issues, misuse, damage, wear and tear, or customer-supplied products.

11 Customer Authorization and Proof of Ownership
Required before service can be completed. If service cannot proceed because required proof is not provided, charges may still apply for reserved time, travel, diagnostics, dispatch, or work already performed.
12 Quotes and Pricing Changes
Quotes and estimates are based on the information available at the time of the request. If actual job conditions differ from what was originally described, final pricing may change. This does not automatically create a right to a refund for work already performed.
13 Situations Reviewed Case by Case
Armstrong Locksmith Inc may review certain refund or warranty concerns on a case-by-case basis. Any refund, credit, or goodwill adjustment is at our sole discretion unless required by law.
14 How to Request a Refund or Warranty Review
Contact us as soon as possible with your name, phone number, date/location of service, description of the issue, and related invoice or documentation.
We will review the matter and respond as reasonably as possible.
15 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Please contact Armstrong Locksmith Inc first so we can review the matter directly. Filing a dispute does not automatically cancel valid charges for labor, travel, diagnostics, or non-refundable European key orders.
16 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund, Cancellation, and Warranty Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
